NEW | Eric Ravilious notecard portfolio
A fanciful notecard set by British artist Eric Ravilious. Each set, presented in a charming pocket portfolio, includes six notecards with envelopes, 3 each of 2 designs. Each card’s backside sports a thumbnail of the front, and a micro bio of Eric. In addition to his watercolours, he was also known for his book illustrations and wood-engravings. Ravilous was the first British war artist to die on active duty, when the plane he was in was lost off Iceland in 1942.
The cards are printed on heavy card stock and are a delight to write on with pen, ink, graphite, and even colour pencil. The portfolio's front & back covers are fashioned from a double layer of cardstock, previewing the two designs within. The covers themselves can be easily trimmed and suavely reused as a postcard or a decorative backing for a backless envelope.
Cards measure: 4¾ x 6⅝
Envelope: 5 x 6⅞, white with a smooth finish and a deep rounded flap
Wrapped in our complimentary signature style: white tissue, French embroidery thread & our favourite washi tape of the day.
